Eric grew up in Newhall Iowa and graduated from Benton Community High School in 1998. He went on to Wartburg College graduating with a degree in Finance & Marketing in 2002. Eric joined the Strellner Agency Group right after graduating from college. Eric holds his life and health insurance license and his series 7, 6, 63 & 65 registrations. He specializes in family financial planning, retirement planning, estate planning strategies, and group benefits.
Eric is a prior president of NAIFA - Cedar Rapids, which is the local chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He also was a recipient of the NAIFA Iowa 2012 Four Under Forty Award. Eric has attended several state and national leadership conferences with NAIFA and MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table). He is also a member of the Eastern Iowa Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Eric and his wife Keevan were married in August of 2004 and have three sons: Brody, Kellen and Rylan. Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and chasing the boys around the house.
